CEATEC Japan was held at Makuhari Messe in October. CEATEC means Combined Exhibition of Advance Technologies and it is one of the largest exhibition of IT technologies in Asia.
The trend in this exhibition is IoT, Internet of Things which is different from the past. The largest are was for consumer electrical products in the past years. This year, they have 4 zones, Town, Home, Community and CPS/IoT Technology & Software which are more focus on solutions using technologies. This focus is in line with the government strategy and the Prime minister Abe had a speech in this exhibition.
